Secondary School
Welcome to Secondary
A Christ-centred community where students are known, challenged, and equipped for life beyond school.
A Place to Belong and Grow
Greenacre Christian College Secondary is a warm and inclusive learning community, where every student is known by name and supported to grow in knowledge, character, and purpose.
We’re not a traditional high school — we’re a community of faith-filled learners where relationships matter, learning is intentional, and every student is encouraged to step into who God is calling them to be. Because we believe that a life of purposeful, faith-filled influence requires strong intellectual grounding, students receive a rigorous academic education that equips them to think deeply, act wisely and contribute meaningfully to the world.
Learning for a Future and a Purpose
In today’s complex world, students need more than facts — they need wisdom.
That’s why learning at GCC reflects our 4 foundational pillars:
Christ-Centred — our teaching, values and community life are rooted in faith in Jesus; belief informs and shapes how and why we learn.
Life-Long Learning — we nurture intellectual and spiritual growth so students build a strong academic foundation and embrace growth and discovery throughout life.
Nurturing Community — our students are known, supported and cared for by staff, peers and families in a welcoming, relational environment that fosters belonging and holistic formation.
Faith in Action — learning isn’t just for the classroom. Students are encouraged to apply their faith through service, leadership and meaningful engagement with the world.
Our goal is not only academic achievement but the formation of lifelong learners who think well, live wisely, and act compassionately.
What Secondary Looks Like at GCC
At GCC Secondary, students experience:
A safe, caring and inclusive environment
Outstanding academic achievements
A strong, structured academic program with personalised support
Clear routines and high expectations balanced with warmth and grace
Rich co-curricular opportunities — sports, arts, camps, service projects, mission trips
Expert careers advice and counselling
Daily opportunities to grow spiritually and relationally
Encouragement to engage, contribute, lead and create
Whether in the classroom, on the field, or serving in the community, students are given space to develop their gifts and explore God’s calling on their lives.
Where Growth is a Journey
We understand that students grow in different ways and at different paces. That’s why we support a progression from simply showing up to confidently leading and creating.
Through this approach, students don’t just attend — they:
Engage – taking part in learning, chapel, events and relationships
Contribute – helping others, sharing ideas, supporting their peers
Lead – guiding small groups, projects or house activities
Create – developing new initiatives that serve the community
Our role is to walk alongside each student on this journey — helping them discover not just what they can do, but who they’re becoming.
A Message from the Head of Secondary
As Head of Secondary, I am excited about what God is doing in and through our students. This is a place where young people grow in confidence, deepen in faith, and prepare for a life of meaning and service.
We look forward to welcoming you to a school where:
Christ is at the centre,
Learning is purposeful,
Community is strong, and
Each student is equipped for a future shaped by faith in action.
Welcome to Secondary at Greenacre Christian College.
Warm regards,
Mr Bradley Forster | Head of Secondary

Our whole school approach to learning ensures that students receive a seamless education with consistent expectations and teaching as well as learning transferable skills from Kindergarten through to year 12 and across all their subjects.
Small class sizes and extra support staff allow students to receive individually tailored tuition.
Our HSC results are consistently well above other schools with 20% of our cohort achieving ATARs over 90.
All students who have applied for university have been offered a place.
Our pastoral care program provides a safe and supportive environment which prepares students for lifelong success.
All students receive ongoing one on one counseling with our careers counsellor to ensure they choose the best subjects, set realistic and challenging goals, and are supported to transition into careers and further study.
Students progress towards an understanding of how to put their faith into action appropriately and effectively and have opportunities to participate in a range of mission opportunities, including an affordable overseas mission trip.
Our graduates are well supported and have successfully progressed into a range of post school studies and careers including medical sciences, law, veterinary science, engineering, science, education, post graduate studies and trades.
