About the Role

We are seeking a relational, proactive, and adaptable individual to join our Student Support Team. The Student Support Officer (SSO) plays a key role in fostering a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment. Working alongside teachers and specialist staff, the SSO provides targeted support to students with diverse needs, assists with learning and wellbeing programs, and encourages positive engagement to help students thrive and reach their full potential.

About You

To be considered, you must:

  • Be a committed, practising Christian, actively involved in a local church

  • Support the mission and values of Greenacre Christian College

  • Have good verbal and written communications skills, with ability to follow detailed plans

  • Have experience in working with children or adolescents to bring positive change

  • Be computer literate with willingness to learn new software and digital tools

  • Have an enthusiastic and flexible attitude, capable of working independently and collaboratively as part of a team

  • Hold a valid Working with Children Check

  • Certificate III or IV in Education Support or other education qualification is highly desirable
